I have had this fridge for almost a month. The icemaker has gotten jammed with ice in the shoot but easily cleared. The ice also tends to really come out in spurts, not a steady flow. I should mention, I did not want an icemaker but hubby did. Love the look of it though!

Costs more than equivalent brands with no reason. Won't signal when doors left open like Samsung, LG, etc.
Freezer drawers are net and not a box.. big disappointment. Bought it only to match to rest of my appliances that are whirlpool and are great.

This refrigerator looks very polished and sleek in our kitchen. Everything works as it should so far. I like the double doors for large dishes, especially with Thanksgiving coming up. My one regret is getting the model with the ice maker that takes up refrigerator space instead of it being on the door.

We have had this refrigerator for about 3 weeks and now ice maker is not dispensing ice. I have reviewed the manual and I can't figure out the problem, one comment was to check ice bin. Big problem, the button does not release the bin. The refrigerator at the store had the same problem so is this a design defect?

Really like our new refrigerator. So easy to access items. Adjustable shelves a real asset. Only drawback is the overall size of the ice cube maker. It takes up quite a bit of refrigerator space. Overall we are happy with our new refrigerator.

Had our beautiful new black stainless French door fridge delivered last Tuesday Oct. 30. Water dispenser wont work. Plenty of ice, but absolutley no water. Warranty repairman came out Friday Nov. 1st works on it for an hour. Calls Whirlpool tech aupport, worked a little more, they decided control board was bad. Supposed to come tomorrow to replace control baord. We replaced a samsung 3 year old fridge, similar style, had it worked on 8 times in 3 years...finally had enough of the piece of junk. Hoping after this warranty repair it will be good to go.

We needed to replace our old refrigerator and after about two hours of debating in the store we settled on this one. It does everything we want it to do and so far seems to be very effective. It's definitely a little louder than the refrigerator it replaced, but not horribly so. The ice maker makes plenty of ice, but there isn't a simple way to get ice out of the appliance except through the dispenser. Really like the exterior finish, the wire basket in the freezer, the fact that there are two crisper drawers with separate humidity controls.

The refrigerator is very usefully laid out and seems roomier than the one it replaced of the same size. The black stainless is easy to clean and looks great. The crushed ice feature doesn't work that well but the whole ice isn't that large so it's ok. The ice maker is a little loud.

bought a month ago had issue with ding in door, it was replaced within a month , the tech was very knowledgeable said it was well put together, it is noisy when the ice maker kicks in but the tech explained why which made us feel we made a good choice

The only problem (?) I have is that I'm never sure the Left Side Door is fully closed. It doesn't give that "shut" sound as does the Right Side, so I always have to give it a push.

Bought this refrigerator to replace a 4 year Samsung refrigerator that was freezing up and not cooling. We have a 1996 Whirlpool refrigerator in the garage that still works great. I regret not going with Whirlpool and buying the Samsung. Lesson learned! Whirlpool has refrigerators mastered.

I bought this refrigerator about 2 months ago. I love it. It's perfect temp in the fridge, freezer is great. There only a couple things I'm not to find off. The ice maker takes alot of space do not much to put anything under it. And gets kinda messy when ur getting ice out of the dispenser. Other than those things, i love it.

We had a power surge in our neighborhood during a storm. The surge burn up our 5 year old refrigerator. So I spent some time checking all refrigerators that are currently out and decided on a Whilpool base on 3 reasons: reliability, made in the USA and design. First of all, this frig is constantly running with a sound that is louder than my dishwasher...a constant noise that can be head throughout our dining and living area. Also, to access the large closed drawer in the frig area, both outside doors have to be opened and then drawer can be pulled out. It is a confusing situation! And because the doors were not closed correctly by a visitor, we ended up with a freezer full of frost.
