Extended warranties are usually very inexpensive and can save you thousands in the future. Some can even cover extra costs that result, such as cost of food that spoils when your fridge dies. It's simple and inexpensive to purchase extended warranties and one of the smartest ways to protect your investment.

Appliances can be large, heavy and expensive. You probably don't have the special tools or expertise needed to fix them in a crisis. Great technician - Terrible LG Support

The top door on our oven does not fit properly. It was delivered this way. At first I couldnt figure out the problem so it took a little while to start asking for help. The LG tech came out and determined it was the door itself. He ordered a new one. He brought that one and said it does not fit either and he and someone on the phone determined the whole over should be replaced. That was the end of support. LG says its not their issue they dont need to help. Best Buy and Geek Squad says its not their issue as its within the first year. So were left with a very expensive oven that does not work properly. Air escapes the frame so heating is not consistent. We somehow managed to get the door to close a slight bit better but items will burn on the backside while undercooked/raw on the front. So now I have to make sure I rotate whatever I cook. This means I cannot use the top oven for anything that should cook without opening the door often like a cake. I will never buy LG again.

Serial number is not easily accessible.

The serial number is not easily accessible. It is on the back of the unit and I had to hire someone to come pull it out to get access to it. Which I needed because one of the oven doors was not closing completely. It had a small gap on the left hand side that you could see through. But to start a warranty claim/fix you need the serial number.

Powerful Beautiful and Smart with a few drawbacks

The front right burner is almost too powerful as compared to the back left. it is large and beautiful. Theres definitely a learning curve. All the smart functions work perfectly as described. The paint does fade and its not so easy to clean as the video would have you think. The meat probe is awesome but breaks easily.

Nice at first......

After about a year we started to notice uneven baking in the top oven with pizzas one side of the pizza was burnt while the other was still somewhat doughy and raw. We tried the bottom and it was the same. If we want anything to cook evenly and throughly we have to use the bottom oven on the convection setting. Clearly this is not normal but now Im out of my one year warranty so Im stuck with this stove. Also the cast iron grates on the cooktop started to rust within one week of owning the stove. LG sent out new ones but those have also done the same thing. Nice stove with rusty grates looks pretty crappy.

A little disappointed

Brought my appliances 4 years ago but there were in storage for two years. Can not get an extended warrant on them though Dealer or Factory. have used my appliances for two year now and I am having to replace and repair the part of the Oven control knob. A little disappointed that the parts are made of plastic for the oven control knob and not metal like the stove control knobs. You would think the cost for such a small part could not be that high to be made out of metal.

ovens were smaller than I was expecting

I bought this from Lowes April of 2021 it took months to get it and we were remodeling so it didnt get installed for about six months. March 2022 after using the oven maybe 10 times the top oven wouldnt work. I called for warranty service Actual computer board was out they were prompt and friendly part took about a week to come in. I know things can always break even when they are new but Im a little nervous now that the warranty will be up in June. The height of the ovens is really my only complaint. Stove is great and easy to clean.

One star off for the app not working as expected

The stove and oven are great I love the double oven it is huge and can hold everything my family can throw at it. Amazing The app and wi-fi is lacking. I set up the app and it was working fine with the stove but after using it once I had to set up the stove as a new appliance in the app all over again. That is pretty frustrating. I have a feeling this will be a recurring issue so I am just not going to use the app for now.

LOVE The Double Oven

Wife and I replaced our awful built-in electric stove with this beauty about six weeks ago We had a gas line ran previous to receiving the item - and we couldnt be happier. Having the two separate ovens also allows for them to heat up much quicker than a traditional full size oven - typically about 7 minutes to get up to 350 degrees in the larger bottom compartment. The black stainless steel looks incredible as well - very sleek looking. This particular model also has WiFi built-in though we havent really messed with that at all. Gave it 4/5 stars as it is a bit more expensive than comparable models.

Beautiful stove but the doors are weak and already pop when opening. The tray are very hard to pull out. The top of the stove scratches extremely easily when removing and cleaning the grates.
